Eternal Temple, Before the Empire

ETERNAL TEMPLE, BEFORE THE NEW EMPIRE

This painting by Thomas Frontini will be featured in the show "Renascence", curated by David Gibson of Gibson Contemporary, NYC  for The Corner. This exhibition explores the desire for immortality: how we extend our dreams and aspirations, origins, and passions into the world to combat the futility of a limited existence. The  Corner is a new project space run by Jason Clay Lewis at,  267 Grand Street, Williamsburg Brooklyn NY. Opening April 6th 2012. More info to come.

This work is one of  my favorites from a series I'm still working on. It was just in the Los Angeles Art Association Open Show, curated by Charlie Manzo of Gagosian Gallery NYC. Great show opening looked like a blast.
